ALPE MERA
Alpe Mera is located in Vercelli a province of Piemonte.
The peak is part of Pennine Alps and born in the area named Valsesia, that cover a range of 18.6 square kilometers.
From Biella you follow the Provincial Road 200 until Val Mosso, after that you continue with crossing Valle Fredda until you reach Borgo Sesia; once you get there you have to follow Sesia river until the city of Scopello. This first part has only asphalt and goes through beautiful little villages really typical
From Scopello to Oropa you have to follow the gpx track cause there are so many lines but not all of them will get you in the right direction. This off road part is about 40 km really enjoyable, you can make it in 1 hour an half but i recommend to stop sometimes to enjoy the silence, the nature and landscapes.
