SAN JORIO PASS

San Jorio pass is located in Como and divide Lepontine Alps to Lugano Pre Alps and rises a bit more then 2’000 meters

Starting from Dongo, this track in his first part is  hard and not for biker with passenger we recommand to follow this track only if you are not a beginner.

If you download the gpx file you will be sure to be on the right way, otherwise be carefull cause the lines are so rough.

after reaching the top you can park your motorbike and have lunch or coffe at the refuge; after that with a little walk you will be able to admire the view of big portion of Ticino.

The way back to como lake is easier. Off-road track about 20km long  where you can also find some cars.

During our ride, on the first part in particular  we meet only one guy doing trekking, we advise to be in at least 2 motorbikes and have enduro tyres (either if is possible without as we done).

After all you can relax driving on a paved road all around the Como Lake enjoyng stunning views.
